  bad experience . always check that everything is in order before picking up and drop off a vehicle. better look for another place to rent. This place is trash

  If I could rate College Rd Fairbanks, Ak with a zero I would. We were charged for an insurance we told them we did not want. Manager, Randy, somehow was never available when I called. He refused to give me a refund, or a call back and when my husband and I went to the store at 3:30 it seems he was “out” to lunch! I finally called customer service and was given a refund immediately. By this time it wasn’t the money but the disrespect shown. Steer clear of College Rd u-haul. Although the star indicates approval it would not let me submit a review without indicating a star.

  This review is for the Customer Service aspect only. Having worked for corporations before I get that there are only so many miracles that can be performed when you have close to 0% support from the main office. I ordered a tow hitch, installation, and accessory online in late April with a May 1 installation date. I dropped my car off the night before only to be called the day the installation was to take place to be told that my part wasn't in. The person I spoke to passed the blame on to someone else and said they would call when it comes in. It's almost July. My part still isn't in. I went in to get my refund yesterday. Like I said local staff is super friendly, but they really should be a bit .more proactive when it comes to communication especially if they know the last shipment before your appointment still failed to produce the item to be installed.
