  Rented a trailer for one day, got charged for two. Customer support hung up before saying a word after being on hold for an hour.

  Rented a trailer and the people I had help me were nice. Also, after I messed up my trailer return on a Saturday night, the were very understanding when I called Monday morning and everything was sorted out.

  Unfortunately I have encountered a lot of bad experiences with U-Haul, but this is the first time I have left a review. As after the first or two bad experience I should have not gave them a opportunity for a third. As each U-Haul location owned by different people as it operates as a franchise. I would just advise every customer to verify their receipt as if you use a card like most people do in the beginning when getting the truck and U-Haul places a hold on the card until you bring it back, but if you bring it back late and elect to pay cash for the remaining balance make sure that your receipt says you paid cash as if not you will be Robbed as they will still charge your card and it gives the employees w opportunity to pocket your cash and you will not have a fighting chance and be made to feel like you are scamming. I assume that why they charge less than the competition as either the company or employees/owners make it up on the back end.
