Do not!!!! Do not!!! Do not Rent a uhaul from this location. Let start with i have used uhaul many many times and never had an issue with them. This time I rented a 15 footer and had it for 3 nights went back and switch it out with a 26 footer and had it for 2 days. As soon as I started it on the lot. It was a little loud but I just thought maybe a hole in the muffler. So I took it and drove from Hoffman estates to Sleepy hollow back forth 3 times. Then returned it on the second day. A day later I see a charge of 1682.88 from uhaul. I called costumer service and they told me the Cadillac converter is missing. I didn't even know it can run with out a cattillac converter. I don't even know where to find it on the truck. They made a file and wrote in the report general manager Tyler dewis needs to get back to me today on what is going on. I recieved no call. So i called Tyler Dewis the general manager directly on his phone later and left a message. No call back. The next day called again and left a message and recieved no call back. They told me he was in a meeting. Just recieved a call back 4 days later telling me that is was my fault I didn't report the loud truck and there is nothing he can do. He said they are going to charge my card. I will never use uhaul again based on there general manager lack of communication and costumer service.

Scheduling and app worked nicely, the guys working the desk were helpful and the van was in great shape. I wish they'd just tell you the mpg so that you could calculate the amount of gas to buy or always top them off.

As I fell flat on my back on the black ice, all I could think about as my head bounced off the pavement was that I really should've bought myself some JJ Keller ice spikes by now. Nice place, watch for that ice though. Concussions and whiplash are a thing.
