  The only place to rent a truck in Athens, GA. We have used them twice and had great experiences both times. Last week we had a cross-country move and needed a vehicle transport trailer on the fly along with the truck we reserved. The whole staff were happy to help with the trailer and loading the car correctly. The staff at the destination U-haul facility even remarked about how well the car was loaded on the trailer. Jeremy Hendrix was the main staff member that assisted with the trailer. He is an expert and was happy to help and provide expertise that really made our move happen.

  The cashier seemed extremely undertrained. I was deferred to this location from another that didn't have the truck I had reserved several days prior. When I arrived, I was told this location didn't have one either. They sent me to another location, which ended up being closed. After returning back from the closed store, I decided I'd just get a larger truck, not a problem. The cashier not only didn't give me even 1/3 of the original miles I was supposed to be given with the truck I reserved, they also didn't enter a return address for where I was going. The whole ordeal set me back hours, having to deal with customer service over the phone and driving back and forth between stores.

  Uhual has the worst customer service as possible. After spending almost $1300 with this company you would think they would be more understanding how useless they company is. The manager at 494 north avenue has the worst attitude I’ve ever dealt with from a business possible. I have been trying to speak to someone that actually cares about the customer since I have used this company. They do nothing but pull your leg and ignore the problem. I pay my storage fee every month on time and you would think the company would take that inconsideration and care to help the paying customer but they don’t. I have gotten a call back from Andrea who is supposed to be a high manager in the company who then tells me she is so sorry for the problems I have occurred with my move and that the ceo would be contacting me for my issue but it has been 3 months and I have heard nothing back. When calling to follow up with my concerns they avoid the conversation. Avoid Uhual by every cost if possible. I will be moving my items out of they’re facility and renting with someone. I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star but have to in order to leave an review. Save your money and spend it on a company that actually really cares , cause Uhual isn’t it. You have just lost a good paying customer
