I was not satisfied with this location. I rented a 10’ truck and wanted it for 24 hours. The worker said that trucks of this size are usually only rented for 4-6 hours at a time. I requested to keep the truck until at least the following day. She said she’d prefer it back that night. The worker said it was needed back IN CASE another customer wanted it the next day. (Am I not a paying customer?) I asked if another customer had already reserved it for the next day. She said no but then said I could have it until 8 am. Better but not what I asked for. I conveyed it wasn’t ideal. So I called the following morning asking if I could keep it for 24 hours if no once else had rented it. She said someone had. So I brought it back. She asked how was everything. I said it would have been better if I could have had it for the time I rented it for. Then she offered me another truck. I said maybe I would have paid to extend my rental another 24 hours. Why would I want to drive all the way back to rent another truck. I feel like this was a way to make more money for them. Then I was asked to sweep it out before leaving! I have rented U-Hauls from other locations and was never told to sweep it out. It had literally 2 leaves in it. I’m not asked to clean my own dishes at a restaurant. It’s part of the service and what I pay for. Never use this location again. Maybe not even U-Haul in general. Total inconvenience.

There is a lovely lady that works here. She has shoulder length hair, redish in color. She went above and beyond (her name maybe Michelle?) I went in no reservation like a newby to renting. I am so sorry for that . But she made sure that I got a van that day. The bigger trucks give me anxiety to drive. I had to get stuff to the dump. She made me a reservation and sent me to the Uhaul on Arcadian (The old Jewel Osco) and it was easy as as can be picked it up did my errands and dropped it off. Great customer service at both locations and every one was friendly. Awesome price too 👍
