Had a good experience overall. There were 2 things that keep me from giving 5 stars. They are: 1. The bulkheads had bent medal rods that made putting them up difficult. And then trailer door was bent too which made closing the trailer challenging. 2. We moved in February. Our trailer got stuck in transit fir a couple extra business days. This was due to ABF getting overbooked. My guess is they were overbooked from various third party companies booking all at once. They told me they had as much freight as they do in the summer. So they were falling bet I d schedule. I felt it a little unprofessional to allow themselves to get overbooked. Despite these 2 things, I would still say I had a good experience. Everything else went smoothly. We did use our own straps which are pretty much necessary. Things would have for sure broken without them. And you need 2 locks for the bulkheads and an exterior lock of your own. Would use them again.

I used U-Pack to move from Indy to Tampa Florida, 5 cubes and nothing but great customer service, honest billing up front before we signed, easy delivery, driver put the cubes exactly where we wanted them at both houses, I will say for most people I read some comments and its on how you or I stack our units, I packed everything nice and snug and everything arrived without an issue. thank you for helping us move.

Our truck was supposed to be delivered to us on Monday the 13th, picked up on Wednesday the 15th and an expected delivery date to our new home within 2-4 business days. Upon the delivery of our trailer on Monday the 13th of January, my wife and I inspected the trailer to find a considerable amount of moisture inside of the trailer, so much so that we were not comfortable using the trailer. I was ensured me that all of the trailers were inspected before being delivered to a customer, this was obviously not true. Upon further inspection of the trailer, it appeared that the gasket seals on the truck had completely failed, allowing moisture to seep into the trailer. The seals were right by where the trailer connects to the truck which is also right by the tires. If there was moisture on the ground such as rain water, then that water would surely leak into the trailer. Needless to say, my wife and I requested a new trailer which was delivered to us on Tuesday. This trailer, like the first, has moisture inside, though it was nowhere near what the first trailer looked like. My wife and I decided to use this trailer for our move. Before we packed our trailer, we laid out painter’s plastic around the front of the truck to be sure that if the seals on this truck failed, our items should be protected. While our trailer was being packed, it started to rain one day and there was a very noticeable leak in the ceiling of the truck, luckily it was not in the direct area of our items but it still needed to be taped closed to ensure no leak would affect our items. There was also a hole in the floor of the truck, also outside of our needed space. Because a new trailer had to be delivered and the unfortunate death of a family friend, our trailer was not packed until Thursday the 16th. We were told by the ABF staff that the trailer would be picked up Friday morning. It was not picked up until Friday night at/around 6:00 PM. Now the 2-4 business days holds true as our trailer was picked up on Friday, a business day and sat at the facility for 4 days before it was moved, Saturday the 18th through Tuesday the 21st where it finally departed for Dayton, Ohio where it sat there again for over 24 hours. While it sat idle, waiting for an eternity, my wife and I had to sleep on the floor and had very few supplies, necessities to live off of. Our trailer was not delivered until Friday the 24th, an entire week after it was picked up. While in transport from Indiana to North Carolina, there had obviously been rain or snow because when we unpacked our trailer there was standing water inside of the truck. This water caused damage to two of our wooden bookshelves, causing one of them to be completely destroyed due to the moisture that had seeped into the truck and then into the wooden bookshelf. A number of other items were destroyed or damaged during the transport. One of the items being a snow globe given to my wife and for our wedding, an item that was priceless as it was created specifically for our wedding. It appeared that the snow globe had frozen due to the below freezing temperatures while the trailer sat and did not move for 96 hours. Our bed frame was also damaged as it shifted drastically and it rubbed against something for hours on end, it also appeared that all of the items has shifted drastically causing the bulkhead to have to be removed extremely slowly as items were literally falling from every direction. The back panels of a third bookshelf, and two antique china cabinets had also been forcefully been removed which should not have happened.
