  I live in Baton Rouge and I’m from Vidalia. I have been driving through West Feliciana Parish for over 40 years. My daughter had a flat in your Parish today and was on the side of the road for about 2 hours. 4 different Sheriff vehicles drove by in the 2 hours she was on the side of the road and none of your officers stopped to check on her or assist!! Pathetic!! My wife was with her for about an hour and saw 3 officers pass by. I drove up to change the tire and the fourth officer was in front of me and I witnessed him drive by and never even touched his breaks! I’m sure they had some tickets to go write!! I have probably paid 4 or 5 tickets in your Parish in the 35 years I have been driving through. I guess your officers only stop for one thing… revenue!! It’s a shame!! My teenage daughter on the roadside for 2 hours! Absolutely Pathetic!!

  Was traveling through the area from ruston, to baton rouge and back. Passed a white pickup truck with a sheriffs jacket in the back window. 5 minutes later, a marked unit pulls out and follows me. After awhile, they pull me over bc, according to them, i was "hanging out in the left lane for awhile", which they claimed was illegal. I was on a highway, not the interstate, so no it wasn't illegal. THEN, the deputy starts asking all sorts of questions about where i was going and what i was doing. I shouldn't have answered but did, and then offered the info that i had medical marijuana on me. Then he starts asking all these questions acting like I'm a drug dealer. The funny thing is, i knew the entire time that the dummy in the white truck told the deputy to pull me over when i passed, and he couldn't find any reason to charge me with anything. Try harder,clowns.
