I couldn't have asked for a better moving experience on a cross country move. All customer reps and delivery personnel were helpful, communicative, and delivered as scheduled. Everything went very smoothly. I also received a military veteran's discount which saved me a good amount of money. Grateful I went with them.

Both 1800 Pack Rat and Zippy Shell (sister companies) provided terrible service. After my items were damaged due to the movers negligence they have yet to provide me with reimbursement / solution for the claims that I filed in Oct and Nov of 2021. Not to mention that I purchased from them a protection to cover 10k worth of damages during the move. They have not been responsive to my emails after I have called them to account on exceed their 90 days of investigation process except to say that I should hear back soon - the response that I have been receiving for almost a month now. When I finally spoke to someone over the phone from their claims department they stated that the reason as to why they are taking so long is because they are getting in touch with the local movers they hired to see if my claims are true. EVEN THOUGH I called them as the damages took place and took pictures of everything that was damaged by them as they loaded my items into the truck and then once the delivery arrived with crushed boxes and items. They still feel the need to confirm with the juvenile children that they subcontracted for my move if my claims are true. They are dismissing the fact that it was those very ill-trained children who nonchalantly mentioned to me the damages they caused on a 50 year old piece of furniture that was very much in mint condition prior to this damage. I have documented all of this with email correspondence and pictures and yet they still think that I am possibly fabricating all of this. I will report them to governing federal agencies regardless of the claims solution so that they can be investigated and hopefully their reputation continues to decline. To clarify further, the Pack Rat team provided me a resolution date BECUASE I CALLED THEM TO FOLLOW UP AND INSISTED THAT THEY PROVIDE ME WITH A QUANTIFIABLE TIMELINE AS THEY HAVE EXCEED THE 90 DAYS PROCESS AND HAVE ONLY PROVIDED ME WITH A VAGUE TIMELINE. Since they were NOT responding to my emails of when I requested that they give me actual dates. So Pack Rat, do not post this response as if you have been responding and providing me updates. How DARE you make it seems as though you have been communicative and responsive?!

Pack Rat customer service is great and I’ve been able to get my containers in a sooner times frame than some of its competitors. However, when they came to pick up 4 of my 12 containers they picked up one of the wrong ones and almost another until my assistant caught it. They took a POD and not a Packrat and it had important merchandise inside. Considering that I gave them the numbers of the containers to pick up it makes no sense how this error was made. I would wait another few days to work with a company that can handle this process more competently
