  We had a complicated move from a house in OR to an apartment in AZ and finally a house in AZ. So that meant multiple containers that went to different locations (smaller one went to apartment, then 6 months later the 16 ft went to the house). I changed dates multiple times because of issues with selling the house in OR. The OR driver even nestled our small container between a carport and a palm tree so it would be close to our townhouse gate. I was totally impressed. Then in AZ, we were in the apt looking for a house, so needed some things not everything. The 16 ft remained in storage. We were able to go to the PHX warehouse (drive inside where it was cool in August), consolidate what we didn't need in the apt into the 16 ft (because who packs perfectly the first time) and then go on our way. The 16 ft was delivered last week and picked up on time. The containers must be handled carefully because after 7 mos., our belongings were in perfect shape the way we packed them. No, they don’t move the stuff for you, but so what finding labor is easy. The price was reasonable, customer service was great - I couldn't be happier.

  I would highly recommend not using this company. I can’t tell you everything that went bad. I will tell you we spent $10,000 for our move. We bought $20,000 in insurance for two containers. After waiting til after the scheduled day for our containers, we had furniture damaged and was told it wasn’t 1800packrats fault. It was the movers fault. Insurance means nothing. When your containers don’t show rest assured, you’re going to be on the phone for a day only to find your containers never left the state you were moving from. It’s really pretty sad when you spend $10,000 on a move you have to babysit every step of the way.

  The two men we worked with did a great job moving us. They were on-time, quick, and very careful with all of our belongings. Super nice and efficient. Made our moving process EASY. Thanks again!
