  The team at Pack Rat was absolutely wonderful. They were knowledgeable, honest, and very friendly. Speaking with them was like speaking with old friends! Absolutely adore people who have that “personal touch,” especially when their jobs don’t require them to be overly friendly. It makes doing business so much more enjoyable!

  I have only ever used Pack Rat to move within Florida’s state lines (I moved out here 20 years ago, and I’m never leaving) so I can’t speak for their long-distance moves. The two times I did move I was very pleased with the way they handled everything. I would absolutely recommend them if you’re moving locally.

  Once they get your possessions and credit card number you are totally at their mercy. Prepare to be price gouged. I was charged $800 for a fuel surcharge. That buys over 250 gals of gas. The whole move was 400 gallons. They charged me $300 for an extra 39 miles on the delivery. I waited 13 hours at the drop off location. Customer service twice said that day that the delivery was on the way. It never arrived. I drove an hour again the next day to the drop off location. They said OOPs we never sent it. Took a day off work and had movers there to unload it. They said sorry here is 50 bucks. I paid over $12,000 dollars for this shipment. Should have just rented a truck.
