  Alex is an incredibly skilled artisan piano technician. He restored and rebuilt my 1920's Knabe grand, and it is a true pleasure to play and teach on it! I am a professional musician working in NM for the last 18 years and I recommend him to all of my students and colleagues for his dedicated, detailed and beautiful work! The whole shop is a NM treasure, we are so lucky to have them as part of our music community. This is the place to go for any of your piano needs!

  There was minor cosmetic damage done to the stand of my Celviano digital piano during a move and Alex was able to repair the damage.

  I reached out to Alex about the possibility of restoring my mother's piano. The piano has been in the family since my grandparents purchased it for my mom, aunts and uncle to learn how to play the piano. Alex came out and did a visual inspection of the piano to ensure that it was actually worth restoring. During this visit, I learned that the piano was 112 years old. He invited me down to his shop for tour and explained the restoration process and what would need to be restored on my piano. During the restoration, I was given updates and photos of the progress and invited to stop by the shop anytime to see the progress first hand.
