  This company was horrible. They do NOT deserve to carry the "United Van Lines" name. They picked up my household goods in the Denver area on May 26th and delivered out of state to us on May 26th. When it arrived lots of furniture items broken, other items damaged or missing. They were so unprofessional to deal with that corporate United VanLines has had to take over my claim. It's Aug 19th and still no resolution. Giving them a "1-rating" is too generous. If I could give a "0" (zero) I would. This has been an absolute nightmare of an experience.

  When I began shopping for movers, I was really disheartened to read customer accounts of indifferent and careless movers. How lucky that I stumbled on AAction Movers, then. Chad handled arrangements for my move, and Alex and Cole loaded items that my husband and I packed onto the truck. From the get-go, they were on time, efficient, courteous, and professional. They had a streamlined process in place and loaded our items in record time, taking inventory as they went along. Karen and Kilmar with United Van Lines unloaded our items in Virginia; they work well as a team and completed the task in record time. I would definitely recommend AAction Movers and United Van Lines to anyone contemplating a cross-country move.

  We tried to use them, but after getting an estimate and a verbal promise that they could meet our moving dates, waiting 5 days for the contract, we were then told they could not meet our dates. I had to call the estimator 2-3 times a day, every day for 5 days to try to lock in our move. When he would call me back, I would get excuses that his supervisor had to approve the move but every time he told me that meeting our dates would not be a problem. After 5 days, he finally told me they couldn't do our move until 7-10 days after we needed the move. This is because the dates we needed had now been filled up. So the supervisor that we were waiting on for approval was busy approving other moves, but not ours, likely because we were considered a "short haul". We escalated to the local manager, who was equally rude and unprofessional. We got nothing but lies and excuses from these guys! We were VERY clear of our needs with them from the onset and the estimator kept assuring us that they could do it when we requested. They pushed off our request and yet filled their schedule with other moves. This company was very unprofessional, unresponsive, misled us regarding what they could do, and then lied about it. I'm actually thankful it didn't work out as I'm sure we would have had further issues had they actually moved our belongings.

We strive to make sure that customers, and potential customers, have clear and transparent communication. Unfortunately, the move dates you had requested was not available at the time you called to request an appointment due to the market saturation. The moving business is booming during this time of year, and that means that from one moment to the next available crews and equipment are booked and capacity is changing, we always do our best to meet a customer’s needs, but want to be honest if we cannot.
