WORST company that I have ever dealt with in my life. DO NOT use them. They were no shows the first day they were supposed to pack and no phone call. The second day 4 packers were supposed to show but only 2 did. The next day they were supposed to load but the house wasn't finished packing. So the truck/loaders were at my house until 1.30 in the morning, and they still didn't finish. Because it was so late, the loaders were mad and cursing and not being careful. Furniture was loaded without being wrapped in blankets. Other furniture, including antiques, were wrapped in Box Tape-box tape on bare wood pulls off paint and varnish and everyone knows that, but apparently not the movers. They also loaded things like an antique table fan in a plastic bin--no box, no paper, no blankets. Guess what, it broke. My mothers piano--broken. My pool table--badly damaged. Multiple vases--broken. Patio furniture, ping pong table, marble table, bed frame---all damaged. When the Allied drivers delivered at my new home (these drivers did not work for the Denver office but the Utah office and were very professional and good), they told me they almost refused to pick up the load in Denver because it was loaded worse than they have ever seen. I am still unpacking and still finding more damage. Throughout it all, my sales consultant Tim W. was nowhere to be found, even though he told me in writing that he would be there on move day to "represent" me--what a joke! Peggy, my "moving coordinator" likewise was a ghost. I couldn't get anyone on the phone and they wouldn't return emails. I tried to get in touch with their superiors to get some help, but couldn't get anyone. I could tell throughout that my experience was not a fluke--this is a bad company with bad people and a bad culture.

Everyone at Compass provided first class service: Chad found the best shipping option and timing for our modest sized household goods move and Liz did a great job keeping us on track with the paperwork and information. The pack out team of Warren and Mike was awesome! They did an amazing and efficient job tackling three flights of stairs on a hot day. Professional and personable, I have only good things to say about this team!

Chose Compass for our move from Evergreen, CO to Jacksonville OR. Compass rep Jeff arrived promptly, assessed our belongings very accurately and quickly. Compass packing crew was fast and efficient, bunch of young ladies and one man. Moving crew was strong, fast excellent. Peg at main office in Denver was on top of everything, knew her crew, the North American Van Line driver, and stayed in touch. Driver had a mechanical delaying him 2 days in Wyoming, but stayed in text message contact with us and arrived early. His local unloading crew in Jacksonville was also excellent. I tipped all these people liberally. They worked hard and knew their jobs well. Additionally all were delightful to work with, alongside helping. Moving weight was less than estimate and North American refunded about $1,400.
