  AK Movers offers exceptional service! I contacted them with a last minute emergency, and they were able to assist within an hour and a half! My friend, who was supposed to help me load a 16 foot truck, blew a tire and couldn't make it. I was on a tight deadline, so I was having a bit of a freak out morning... AK was efficient, friendly, professional and was able to return my sanity and peace of mind. Everything they loaded was well protected and secured, including extremely heavy boxes full of medical books and magazines, antique hardwood furniture pieces, hardwood shelving, two filing cabinets (one half full) and a 73" television. Everything stayed in place perfectly during transit across state lines in rough weather and traffic conditions! I HIGHLY recommend AK!

  So sorry we picked this company. We were moving within 10 miles, from one bedroom apartment to another. It took them 2 hrs (!) just to move the furniture to the truck - they were working slow on purpose to be paid more, because they are paid by the hour. While we were settling in a new place after the move, we've noticed that few pieces of furniture and two unique lamps were broken. We couldn't fix the furniture and lamps after all. We also found fresh scratches on furniture, though the furniture is of a very high quality and not easily scratched. We had an awful experience with the Russian crew of this moving company.
