      All My Sons does not care about protecting your items or your home while moving your things. The movers from All My Sons damaged almost a dozen of our items, including large items such as our refrigerator and our dining table bench and they dropped our brand new washing machine because they didn't want to use the tools to carry it properly. A number of paintings were also damaged. They also did some damage to our new home: scraping our hardwood floors and walls. They were supposed to utilize materials that protect floors but they didn't. I pointed out all the damaged items to the movers and the lead mover stated that he knew a guy that can fix many of the damaged items. After the move was complete, I never heard from the lead mover or his "guy" so I called the man I spoke with to hire the company and after repeated voice mails to him explaining that we had a number of damaged items, he never called me back. The movers seemed to move our things with little concern with protecting them or our home. I asked them to please be more careful but my requests fell on deaf ears. They also filled the truck without regards to protecting our items in transit. One of the movers also complained the entire move that we had too many things to move. They left two car loads of stuff at our old house and I'm not sure why because the trucks weren't completely full. And at some point in the move into the new home, they simple stopped carrying items upstairs or into their designated rooms and left as much as half of our stuff in the dinning room and garage. So we had to finish moving our things into the house and upstairs. I've used a moving company a number of other times in my life and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. All My Sons was also the most expensive moving company I've ever used. I will never use them again and I tell everyone I know not to use them either. Save your money and your things.

      Worst moving experience, EVER!! Their “packing” consists of throwing items in a poorly taped together box (ex. my daughter had made three-four ceramic pieces, all were thrown into a box, not a single sheet of paper separating them). They poked a hole in my wall moving (no, I mean SLIDING my couch) down the stairs ; I was due to sell and close on that house in three days, a meticulously kept house at that. The two “managers” we spoke to said someone would call me to repair the wall. No call came....ever. I fixed it myself, diverting my energy from moving and the emotional weight of it to fixing the d*** wall! Then at the end of the packing/loading day, they rush you through signing the inventory sheets. I asked specifically, “how do I know everything is on the truck? I didn’t watch you load!” Sure enough, after they left, there were a handful of items left behind with their inventory tags on them. Then when they showed up to our new home, they had nothing to protect the new carpet and corners of the walls. When we asked for covering the carpet, they said, we didn’t tell them that was a necessity and that they don’t carry those items on a truck unless we ask them!? I guess under that rationale, next time you go to the doctor, tell him what instruments he will need to perform your check-up (tell him to bring a tongue depressor, stethoscope, thermometer, etc). I could go on...one final thought. Sales guy/estimator was super nice and responsive until the day of moving. When I sent him pictures of the hole in the wall and asked for help getting it repaired....silence. This outfit is a bunch of juvenile adolescents in grown man bodies. Need constant babysitting on how to move and how to behave and take offense when you complain (get their little feelings hurt...poor babies!).       Trashy company. We booked a crew of three and a 26-foot truck a month before our desired move date. They called me several times in the week before to confirm the arrival window and the addresses. I called them the morning of the scheduled move and was told the crew was just finishing up a safety meeting and would be on their way to our home in about 20 minutes. Then we got a call 45 minutes later--40 minutes into our arrival window--saying the truck broke down and they would not be moving us that day after all. I asked about the next day and was told "The next window is Thursday, take it or leave it." We asked about paying extra for overtime, paying extra for an additional crew, paying extra for renting a U-haul...every alternative we asked about was answered with "No, we're not doing that". We asked the dispatcher what would happen if we scheduled for Thursday, paid a second deposit, and they canceled us again. He actually said "Then we just cancel you entirely. Don't worry about it!" At that point we asked to speak to the dispatch manager and he said "He's just going to tell you the same thing, but he won't be nice about it. Do you want us on Thursday or not?" Our answer was no. We booked with another company for the next day and the other company was wonderful. They told us that on the rare occasions when their trucks break down, they rent another one at their expense. It's a pretty bad look, All My Sons, when not only your customers but other people in your industry are shocked at your level of "customer service".
