  I am rather disappointed. I called to schedule my move with Coeur d'Alene Moving as I had previously. I LOVED everything about my move and the guys who did it so was hoping for a repeat with my new move. Guys from Alliance showed up and said they are part of CDA Moving. Paul was very friendly, efficient, and helpful and so I was hopeful. However, when all was said and done, pretty much every piece of wood furniture I have was damaged. They broke one of my bookshelves and were planning to leave it that way until I said something. They broke a yard decoration I had and put it somewhere I would not see until after they left. They left marks on my walls, knocked pictures off the wall and hit the ceiling every time they came up the stairs. I also was made to feel like it was an inconvenience on more than one occasion during the move. I hired a moving company to make my life easier and paid good money for it, so it is disappointing to walk away with such a negative feeling. I called the company to let them know my experience and talk to someone very nice. She said she would call me back, but never did.

  Contacted to have 1 room's worth of furniture moved across the country. Was quoted more than I was expecting, but was told to "move quickly" to lock in our move date. Radio silence after making payment. Day before scheduled move, called in to try and get a time estimate. Was told that I was "on the books for Wednesday" - our scheduled date was supposed to be Sunday or Monday at the latest. Locked in a new date of next Saturday (soonest I could be available again). Called Saturday morning and was told "We called the owner, we've got you on for Sunday." What? Threatened to cancel and was told they were 100% sure they would be here Sunday to move our furniture. It's Sunday and I called in this afternoon to confirm timing "Okay, looks like the best we can do is Tuesday". Seriously?!!?! How is it that I have to constantly call in to be given a new date? I've spent 4 full days at home with a clear schedule waiting. When I expressed my frustration, I was told "You people in California are moving like fleas. So we can't even find trucks." Why wouldn't you communicate that ahead of time? Why would you make 4 broken promises? And apparently, my deposit would not be refunded if I canceled. Well...what a sham. Do not trust these guys - especially if you work for a living and need to move things around to accommodate them.

  Alliance moving and storage will be my forever go to. They are professional, punctual and very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with their moving needs.
