Words can't express how much I appreciate the American Master Movers team. They made everything easy - from scheduling to the actual move date. They arrived on time, and got the move done in less than 2 hours. It was a great experience - I didn't have to worry or stress about anything! They were able to take extra boxes that I was going to move myself, and were so helpful. I was most worried about my peloton because of the weight. However they moved it with ease and care, and they even taught me how to remove the screen! This was by far the best moving experience I have ever had, and I can't wait to use their services again for any future moves. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, stress-free move.

**MOVERS BEWARE** Scheduled American Master Movers for a simple move (apartment items to storage / leather sofa & love seat set to separate residence). Two men showed up on time and promptly began moving. When I made my reservation, I was told all the “services” that were included, with one being that all furniture would be wrapped in blankets for the move. I noticed right away that all furniture was only being wrapped in stretch wrap, not blankets as discussed. I asked why no blankets were being used, they informed me that since I did not elect to purchase the blankets that none would be used. They reassured me that the plastic they were using would be enough protection and I took their word and had them carry on with the loading. Their loading & stacking seemed aggressive (to the point it made me question how well I packed my boxes), but I attributed that to the fact I was being charged hourly and they wanted to move as fast as possible. Once we were complete with loading, they made the short drive to the storage unit. While unloading at the storage unit my headboard (which was not wrapped in a blanket OR plastic) fell in the truck. I was immediately notified and told that American Master Movers would have a “wood technician” come repair the damage in 6+ weeks as this guy is “in high demand’. The damage sustained to this piece of furniture is not repairable (see photos) and I asked for the article to be replaced. The lead guy of the move talked with his manager and agreed the item would be replaced. They carried on with the move until all items were in the storage unit. Part of my move included having a power reclining leather sofa & loveseat set taken to a residence instead of in storage. This was no problem for the guys, so they continued to the second drop off location. They were quick with bringing in the loveseat, and after about 30 minutes of waiting for the sofa to come in, I went to the truck to see if they needed any help. They said they were “completing paperwork” but were both looking underneath my sofa which seemed odd. A few minutes later they came in with the sofa and seemed very rushed to leave. We processed the payment, and they were off in a flash. Approximately 2 hours after they leave, I decide to check the sofa & loveseat to confirm the power mechanisms are all correct & functioning. I find the power recline function on the sofa is not working and being to investigate. I check outlets and begin to trace the cords and that is when I found that they ripped the power cords and tried to cover it up and “fix” it with brown packing tape. I immediately called American Master Movers and tried every extension and was sent to voicemail. I left a detailed voicemail explaining the issues that would need resolution (headboard & sofa) but did not get a response back. The next day I sent an email to Cameron at American Master Movers and received a response from “John Hudson” identifying himself as the Assistant Operations Manager, saying that Cameron (who is the General Operations Manager) “is out of the office until further notice” but promised the items I needed resolution on would be resolved. I provided all items he requested (original receipt of the headboard, and my availability to have an electrician come repair the couch). After my prompt response I have not heard anything back from American Master Movers. It has been 45 days since my move, and I have sent 6 follow up emails and left over a dozen voicemails with no response. I am at the point where I must dispute the charges with my credit card due the lack of responsibility taken by American Master Movers.

American Master Movers showed up almost an hour late outside of their window. They move just a portion of our furniture claiming some bags were not tied so they did move them even then they were out ready for packing in the truck. I was called the day before and told that because of the low number of our items, we were over quoted and that they were lowering our rate from 3 men to 2 men... 3 men showed up and thus we were charged the higher rate. I was also told that person that quoted us was fired the very next day. We had ordered wardrobe boxes to show up with the move, they forgot them and brought them at the very end of the move when they were sitting around doing nothing and charging extra hours. We also had ONE bathroom box that took an extra 5 minutes to finish packing and for them to load up and they just left anyway because I was tired of watching them sitting around doing nothing while we were generously offering food, water, etc. I had talked to the supervisor Cameron and he PROMISED me that he would call me back before any charges were charged as we had a lot to agree on and he agreed with me (the conversation was very cordial until he hung up on me for no apparent reason). I tried to call him back many times and they would not answer. Once they had delivered some of the items to our home, so many were broken and we cannot even get a hold of them to claim them because they have "blocked our numbers" They also just simply left a large amount of trash right by our front door that when our community manager came over for the review, threatened to fine us. I was the original account holder, I simply gave them my husband's contact information so that they could contact him if for some reason my very busy cell phone did not answer. They illegally forced him to forge my signature and erroneously determine charges that they felt like charging. THE ACCOUNT WAS RESERVED UNDER MY NAME ONLY. I had put the deposit on my credit card deliberately as I did not want to be cash strapped with all of the moving expenses that we had. It was completely unfair for them to FORCE him to use a debit card and cash strap us. In all fairness, I did not dispute the charge on my credit card for the deposit as I do feel like they are owed something for their limited amount of services and have tried to contact them many times but they have both of our numbers blocked. Additionally, they were incredibly rude when they sent out a review request and said specifically in the text that I as the account holder WAS NOT ALLOWED TO RESPOND TO THE REVIEW REQUEST as they knew it would not be positive. To rectify the situation, we had to rent our own separate truck and dolly in order to move the remaining boxes at a large expense for the rental and gas. As we were moving one of their "used" wardrobe boxes on it that still had someone else's moving sticker on it and was clearly damaged, my wife and I were moving it down many flights of stairs with a dolly and she got severely injured. We were simply attempting to be fair, but at this point the medical bills, rental truck, gas, an additional man after my wife was hurt has far offset the expense of this move. Their response to my husband when they forced him to forge my signature was to discount ONE of the $75.00 broken wardrobe boxes that didn't even show up on time, and thus was not moved and caused a serious injury. The other option they offered was $50.00 off the move which is immediately advertised anyhow on their website. I am uploading many photos to show many of the issues that occurred, but would prefer if you contact us about the other moving charges (ie truck, my wife's injury as it has personal and sensitive data. Please protect yourself and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY everything about our experience was awful.

Hello Zack and Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. To start off with the inaccurate / dishonest accusations and information you have provided, I will first attach a screenshot of our crew starting at 9:14 AM. Our arrival window is between 9 AM and 10 AM. Firstly, we have in fact confirmed that the 4 boxes we brought out to you that day, were all in fact brand new, (as shown in your pictures) as all the boxes we have are. In addition, we have already made you aware that after you stated to us that you were “looking to get a free move, and you already disputed the charge on your card”, we then put you on our do not call or answer list, being that we will not do business with scammers. At that point, all communications between you and us were terminated, as there is nothing further we can do to assist you. Lastly, as many can tell, based off of our previous reviews, the type of company you attempted to make us out to be, is extremely misleading. We know whoever is reading this, understands that there eventually will be some bad apples that companies come across. Unfortunately, it’s inevitable and it comes with any business. Nevertheless, best of luck to you and I hope things get better for y’all. Regards, American Master Movers
