  The bus system itself is good. Customer service is horribly bad!!! The customer service manager Ben Wallden and his servent Sandy made up a story that I gave attitude first. I went up to get my pass for me and my husband. Can't get his without him here. Ok understandable but when I told her the lady who I was working with she ignored me 5 times! Lied to her boss about catching an attitude and all I said I would like to be acknowledged about who to talk to. She started to roll her eyes. She told her boss it wasn't towards me but she looked at me when she did it and it's giving attitude. Either ways don't go to the service window if you don't need to. Sandy and Ben both need to retrain on customer service or loose their jobs!!!

  Purchased one of the 20 ride passes used a total of 12 rides. Pass wouldn't read correctly on the 11th ride and bus driver being in a hurry bent the card. The next time I tried to use the pass it failed because where it was creased the reader removed some of the stripe. I went to get the card replaced and I was told it would cost $5 to fix it by putting the remainder onto one of the smart cards. Was also told that it was the only way they did business. This has left a very sour taste for the public transit system in Anchorage. Avoid riding with People Mover if you don't like getting ripped off.

  What a great way to meet interesting people! All walks of life, and some we don't often get the privilege to interact with travel by city bus.
