  We were extremely happy with our recent move with Bay Movers. They did everything they said they would. The four men who came were careful, professional, polite, hard-working and cooperative through a tough move filled with heavy books and lots of stairs. They came in a little over their estimate, but their final cost was still only 75% of what other movers estimated! This was the best move I've ever experienced. DO use Bay Movers! They're great!

  Terrible experience! Initially we were excited because they were quick to come to our house to give an estimate and we were pleased with the estimate they gave. However, the actual move was awful. We were only moving furniture from a 2 bedroom home, no boxes. The truck they brought turned out to not be big enough to fit everything we had talked about during our in-home estimate. The estimated it would take 4 hours.... It took TWELVE! The cost they quoted us for was doubled! They told us when to empty our fridge / freezer, which we thought would be helpful as to not allow for things to that. However, once we got to the new house they took forever to put the fridge in its place! I would guess our food was out of the fridge / freezer for about 8 hours! (note, our new house is less than an hour away from the one we moved from). The movers (well to be fair, it was mostly just one of the two of them) commented several times that they make most of their money through tips, and complained most of the day that they work such long, hard days.They also never took a lunch break the entire day, so that on top of their stories made us feel bad for them and offered to buy them dinner, which they accepted. (I regretted this looking back on it). They made sure as they were moving to point out things of ours that had scratches on it. However, they ended up damaging 4 of our things! They scratched and dented the door to our new home, our sons convertible bed, his dresser, and they left 4 large chunks out of one of our custom pieces of furniture! We obviously called to complain. They gave us $100 for damages, which no way near covers the damage they did, especially the custom piece that can't be fixed. They also sent abother truck to finish moving what they couldn't fit. We were hoping for different movers but they said they had to send the same ones to "finish their job." Luckily nothing was damaged that day. I absolutely would NOT reccomend going with this company!

  Movers were professional and hard working. Gave me an excellent price, much cheaper than two men and a truck. I'll be suggesting these guys to my friends.
