  We used Bekins for a large move from a 4550' home to a 3300' home. They were GREAT. The major piece was a 7 foot Steinway Grand Piano and they brought this down a circular staircase, and the UP a circular staircase in the new house with NO problem, NO damage, and professionally. I have used multiple moving companies over the years and Bekins definitely ranks near the very top, if not the top. They did not break one single thing, and nothing was missing. That's quite incredible given the size of our move. Thank you Bekins for a GREAT job. Highly recommended!

  Furniture on move to Austin, Tx on November 9, 2021 from Las Vegas, NV, and scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday, November 16th by Bekins Moving Company. They called on November 15 and said it wouldn’t be until Wednesday November 16th. I said no problem. I had workmen ready to remove a window to facilitate a large piece entering our home. No show by Bekins, not even a phone call. When I called they said they didn’t know where my furniture was but the driver had to take the load to Oregon, the opposite direction and the driver had a problem and was stuck in Oregon. They said they would pay me $150 a day until it was delivered + $200 to pay for waiting time for the workman. They didn’t know when it would be delivered but would let me know by the end of the day. Never received a call and they refused to accept any calls from me. I left numerous messages for George, the general manager, Chris the logistics manager, and administration. The original estimator, Kirk Heiman was the only person to finally help me. He was the only shining light in their company. Their entire organization was non responsive. I got an email from Kay Anderson that they would pay only $100 a day in late fees an $200 for the workman. The driver, Norm, arrived on Wednesday November 23 and he was great. Nothing broken. He did say Bekins wanted him to take an additional load with our furniture to Oregon. He refused to take our furniture so they loaded it on to another van and on the way to Oregon the van caught fire and everything on it was destroyed by the fire. I’m thankful that we got our furniture in the end. Bekins never Paid a dime for any of the delay even though they said they would. I have never seen or heard of a moving company being so callous and unresponsive to customers queries and obviously this was a very stressful experience. I obviously would never recommend Bekins to anyone.
