  I agree with the reviewer who said not to use them for out of state move. They were very responsive until they received my payment too. They changed my pack and move date to the same day - so everything was rushed. They had four guys packing in different rooms and loading at the same time. It was impossible for me to watch them as they packed, documented, and loaded. Everything was loaded on a truck that was then taken to another location and loaded onto a bigger truck. The arrival was delayed by days - so I had to live without my belongings. Then, when they arrived, several items were missing and others were clearly damaged or were just not right (didn't close properly, etc). I filed a claim and it was denied after 4 weeks without any explanation - even though the driver of the delivery truck documented damage. I wouldn't use Beltman again, nor recommend them. Considering filing a police report for my missing items.

  If you are looking for a cross country mover, do not use Beltmann. They were very responsive until the point they received your payment. Thank They did not show up on the initial move date because "a truck broke down". The 2nd truck they sent did not have enough room on it, so they needed to send a third truck. We had to adjust flights and schedules to accommodate their scheduling inabilities. A lot of our items did not arrive until weeks after the initial agreed date. My children had to sleep on the floor. We had items arrive damaged or not at all (items missing were not shockingly the expensive Nintendo switch and Bowflex dumbbells). We tried contacting them multiple times to come to a resolution. They would not work with us. We filed freight claims, received no contact and only a denial. It's sad that we paid in full, purchased insurance, received unacceptable service, and were left holding the bag. Definitely put a black cloud over a very exciting time in our lives.   Save your valuables and sanity and please go with another mover. The day of the move, the movers said they were cold and crabby and threatened that I didn’t want an angry mover in my house. I called the Beltmann office which they said they were professionals and would proceed with the move. The day of the delivery, my flat screen TV was missing (which they boxed), 80% of the moving cartons were smashed, torn open, or ripped from being slammed into thing, and finally the furniture items were trashed. For the furniture, 90% had scratches, dents and/or gouges. What upsets me most is my dinning and coffee tables have metal bases. They were obviously slid around on their sides without padding, it looks like road rash and is sickening. I’ve called Beltmann several times and they just say file a claim. The claims process is long and frustrating and intended for people to give up but that’s not going to happen.
