Dictating so please excuse any typos. I was put in touch with Berger Allied through Allied Van Lines. I already had a couple of decent quotes but waited another 2 days for their estimator to come out. He was very thorough walking through the house and asking questions. Later that day I got an estimate. It was more expensive than the other ones I had but I appreciated their thoroughness. After clarifying a few unnecessary expenses I told them let's do it! I didn't hear anything back for a few hours so emailed them again. Then I get an email back from the guy who did our estimate saying that the driver said they weren't going to do it. They said it was too long of a drive and they could get more jobs done locally and that amount of time. My question is, why didn't they tell me that from the beginning? Why did they waste my time waiting for an estimator to come out and then give me an estimate if they weren't going to do the job! Very unprofessional.

I highly recommend Berger Allied Moving and Storage. We did an in-state move and Jerry's crew took great care of everything. They were easy and friendly to work with on the load-up and move-in. What a great group of hard-working guys. I really appreciated how careful they were throughout the process and as far as we know no items were damaged.
