Our move from FL to CO went very well. Pickup and delivery were on time. Driver very experienced, professional, and responsive. Hard-working crews to load and unload on both ends. All possessions were loaded with care and accounted for. Furniture was carefully wrapped to prevent damage. Cost estimate was accurate and binding. Very happy with Brandon and definitely recommend.

I never write reviews. Unfortunately, I feel compelled to warn people about this service. My furniture arrived, after a few months in their storage, moldy and damaged. I was going to write something on the sign off sheet but was bullied out of doing so. A table, that has great sentimental value, had a leg snapped in two. I did not notice this at first because someone had tried to glue it together. I did notice something sticky on the leg at the time of the move but the movers acted as if they did not know what I was talking about. I now have to throw out furniture that I took the trouble to move. This breaks my heart.

Update: 3/11/2021. I am updating my rating from a one star to a two star rating only because my consultant Susanne Miller has done her very best to lighten the blow of this horrendous out of state moving experience. She was able to take off $400 from my total balance but I have to mention this was only after I had made my one star rating on Google. The office staff merely told me to file a complaint when I asked for a discount. Delivery occurred 4 days past my delivery window on 2/24. Leaving me without ALL my belongings for over 3 weeks. Delay was only part of the nightmare. The delivery was the worse experience I have ever had with any out of state mover. I had the rudest most disrespectful driver I believe his name was Reggie. The driver told me that he was doing me a favor by having his guys put my bed and coffee table together. He said that my paperwork did not include reassembly in my service. I told him that I have used Allied for multiple out of state moves and have never heard this. Susan also confirmed, after the fact unfortunately, that whatever is disassembled should be reassembled upon delivery. When I asked if they could reassemble my (2) TVs to their bases he said he would be nice and let them do it if I opened the boxes myself. He sat on my furniture watching the men and myself work. While sitting and watching us he said in a condescending tone, "I bet what you pay for rent here is more than my mortgage." I was so caught off guard it immediately put me in a defensive state. Before leaving I had one last request that they open and place my 8 foot mirror in the bedroom. The driver's response was, "You're pushing it." I told him I am 5'2 I don't want to hurt myself that's why I hired movers. He told me to open it and then he'll be nice and have them do it. When it was all done, my bed was grossly put back together, collapsing and was damaged. My dresser and TV stand were both damaged as well (See images attached). I ended up having to file two claims with Allied directly. One for the delay and one for the damages. I am receiving $100 for every day that my shipment was delayed and all three pieces of furniture have been deemed a total loss by Allied and I am getting fully reimbursed for all three pieces of furniture. Original Post: I used Brandon Transfer & Storage for my Florida to Texas move. I chose them because they had high reviews. I moved out of my FL apartment on 2/4 and I am now going on day 15 of my shipment not arriving. Today, I was told my shipment is still in a holding pattern in Florida. I've been living in an apartment without my necessities and without proper clothing during an unprecedented snow storm in Texas. When I first asked about the delay (before the storm hit) I was told that they needed to fill the truck with other homes before it could leave Florida. Now, I'm being told that the truck is in a holding pattern and my things may not arrive until 2/22 or 2/23. I have already begun my new job and don't have work or weather appropriate clothing because it is still on the truck. When I called to ask for a discount on the delivery for the inconvenience I was told to file a complaint. My complaints are if it was known that a storm was going to hit why wasn't proper planning executed because my vehicle arrived on 2/9 before the storm why couldn't my home been delivered the same time? I'm extremely upset and more than inconvenienced! How long will my things be held hostage?
