I was told an estimate over the phone of $890 including a $20 fuel charge. My rate was $189 per hour. The movers completed the work in 5 hours which totaled $945 plus the $20 fuel charge totaling $965. I was told my total was 1154 by the movers and just trusted that they were being honest. I've been calling and calling no answer. No where on the receipt does it show the additional $189 charge that the movers added. I paid my deposit of $189 over the phone which should have been deducted from the $965. This is not ok and not how you run your business! Brighton moving & storage was recommended by a colleague and from my experience I would NOT recommend using their company. If you do please double check the receipt and calculated for yourself!

After calling for quotes from a few different moving companies in the Boston area, I decided to go with Brighton Moving Company due to there lower quotes. I was able to get an extra worker for the same price I as competitors with only 2 movers and a truck. The team did a very good job being careful, fast and efficient. Not to mention they were friendly and personable. Would hire again!
