  Cross Country Movers was referred to me by a good friend. I had heard that they made her move across the country effortless with utmost care to her belongings. I am meticulous about who even touches my stuff let alone trusting anyone to move it. I live in a 2 bedroom condo in Los Angeles and I am finally making the move back home to Times Square in New York. On top of everything, I also wanted to take my new Tesla Y without putting miles on it. I just purchased her earlier this year so I was extremely weary of letting anyone else even touch her. I contacted Cross Country Movers on Yelp requesting for a quote and they quickly responded in a few short hours. After agreeing on an extremely fair price and scheduling the move, it was time to see if they lived up to the hype that my friend was talking about. They came right on time and took care of my property better than I would have done myself! It was a very smooth transition to New York with my stuff and I couldn't have picked a better company than Cross Country Movers to help me make the move. My Tesla was in perfect condition and I would have never known it was touched by anyone else at all! I definitely recommend anyone looking to make their move a smooth one by going with Cross Country Movers!

  If you’re looking to move please RUN as far as possible from this company. I was misquoted for multiple items and had to dispose of perfectly good furniture I couldn’t take because of them. I also have exact measurements for boxes and still had 10 left that they refused to take without additional charges. I asked for a refund before anyone touched a single item and was refused. They never explained that my tvs would have to be wrapped a certain way or face an additional $200 charge. They didn’t take apart a single furniture item for us. They attempted to mansplain cubic feet to me multiple times while refusing to budge. I definitely lost my temper, but they continually cut me off while repeating their same lack of desire to resolve our issue in any way. You’re far better off renting a uhaul or using a pod service. Almost $3000 and hardly any of my belongings are making it to our new home. The movers themselves are lovely people, but all this company cares about is how much money you are willing to hemorrhage for your belongings.

  This company is AWFUL and a bunch of lieing scammers. When we requested our service, we asked for a designated truck and a guaranteed delivery date. The employee of Cross Country Movers who we were working withs name is RAY PHILLIPS. He assured us that we would have both and gave us a quote. He failed to inform us that cross country movers themselves would bot be moving our stuff but a 3rd party. When that company arrived, they were not informed about anything and stated there was no guarantee on anything. When we tried to get ahold of RAY PHILLIPS, he would barely ever answer the phone and eventually wouldnt answer the phone at all. We got in contact with their customer service and they were no help as well. They seemed uninterested in helping us out and couldnt answer any of our questions. They stated he would give us a call back but we never recieved one and cant get in touch with him at all. The 3rd parties this company comtracts out are terrible as well. They have changed the delivery date on us 3 times and stated they had“police trouble” along the way. My wife and I would have to call them to see if they were actually going to deliever our stuff on the day they said and when we would call them they told us that the day had changed. THEY DID THIS TO US 3times!.Whenever we would try to contact the “foreman” of this 3rd party contracted company, he would barely ever answer the phone and we werent able to leave a voicemail because his voicemail was not set up. We have still yet to recieve our belongings at our new residence and it had been a month. We will be reporting this company to the department of transportation. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOIR MONEY ON THIS UNPROFESSIONAL ILLEGITIMATE “COMPANY”.
