I was stationed at Galena Air Force Station around 91-92 as a Weatherman. I also was a DJ at the base club. I loved the fishing and hunting around the area. Had some great times there, and made some amazing friends. It's too bad they tore down the "new" control tower after the Military left.

I was there from Aug 73 to Aug 74. Cold and mosquitos. Fishing was great. Lots of basketball drinking and gambling. Enjoyed the year. I worked in the radar unit across the runway. ATC.
