  Estes Lost a $15,000 piece of equipment. It just "disappeared" between terminals. How the truck driver lost a piece of equipment that was several thousand pounds is beyond me. Then we spent hours jumping thru their hoops to file a claim and we got a "sorry here is $2,000" Do not trust them to haul your expensive equipment. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

  Estes lost a $15,000 compressor they were shipping for us. They paid us $3,000 for it as that was the max "insurance" they could pay for a compressor they lost. This was after an employee spent hours obtaining all the documents Estes asked for, submitting via e-mail and hard copies dealing with multiple layers of people within Estes. All told, this was an extremely expensive transaction for me. I would strongly advise against using Estes Freight if at all possible. The risk of financial loss is too high.

  call for tracking and set up appointment for delivery. appointment not kept. called company to find out if my package will be delivered and then was told it was lost and not on the trailer. told me to call back later. another phone call and was told it wasn't lost and that it was checked in awhile ago and was at the local terminal ready for delivery. no excuse for why it wasn't and hasn't been delivered. not sure which story to believe - Estes lost the package or is a delivery company that can't deliver a simple package. called Estes the following day to determine package status and was told that it shipped out to another terminal for an unknown reason and now is at an unknown location. Estes has no clue why that happened or when it would be delivered. told me to call the shipper and order a new product. no idea what they are doing. absolute worst experience you could imagine. product had a month lead time to begin with and now it's lost. I would not recommend this company for any needs whatsoever. terribly. completely terrible.

  We are truly sorry, and we want to assure you that this is not the customer experience we aspire to. Unfortunately, with the volume of freight traveling through our network, lost freight does happen, but we will do everything we can to try and locate it.
