Rented a car to go up there Very untrusting. Tried to put me in an older tractor. it had over half a million miles on it I chose to not risk my class A operating it on the highways and byways of America. It was about $1,000 hit for me, with gas for the rental and food and all.

Mark, we understand your frustration and concern. However, you are the one who chose to join our company and to drive up from Southern California. We are more than willing to reimburse your travel costs if you stayed and made at least one trip. Regarding the tractor, we never put a driver that has no experience driving with us in a brand new tractor. As you know there are many drivers who can draw up a great looking resume but when it comes down to it, they don’t know how to back up to a dock. We booked you a load from northern to southern ca when you arrived so that you can show us how you drive but you refused to go. Also, most trucks in America have over 500k miles on them. There are no new trucks on the market and the newer trucks we do have we give to our seasoned drivers that have been with us for some time. Also, you are a smoker and we prefer not to give a new truck to a driver who smokes. Lastly, if you showed us that you were willing to do a trip or two and if you did a great job, we would be more than glad to give you a newer truck. The truck we gave you went on a trip the very next morning and came back with a clean inspection from the DOT. It may be a 2017 Volvo but it was serviced and cleaned and works like a charm. We hope you have better luck in your future endeavors.
