  I found a vintage curio cabinet from an estate sale that I needed moved to my home from the seller’s residence. The curio is all glass with only brass framing. It stands 7 feet tall and 3 feet wide. On a whim, I bought the curio with the assumption that a mover I’ve used many times in the past would be able to move it for me. Once I showed the previous mover photos, they declined due to the high value of the curio and the insurance liability. I was then on the hunt to find a new mover who could handle the task. I searched and called Georges Moving after checking their reviews. They were highly rated so I decided to give them a try. The owner, George, answered right away. We spoke in great length about the scope of the job, the timeline in which it needed to be completed and some of my concerns. My main concerns were not causing damage to the curio, not causing damage to the home it was leaving and not causing any damage to my home. He explained some of the risks but was confident that his crew could handle the job, which in turn made me feel more at ease. The day of the move, George actually came to the site to ensure the curio was properly protected. They were prompt and the crew was friendly. I have to admit, I was nervous the entire time just because it’s in my nature. Once it was securely wrapped with multiple layers of protection, my anxiety decreased. It was heavy! And to be honest, I do feel like the crew needed George there as an extra set of hands to do spotting because of the complexity of carrying down stairs and loading it. When they arrived at my home, they moved quickly to unload off the truck and to get it in the house. Again not easy and it took some logistics to determine how to get the curio in place. They even helped me add new felt cushions to the feet of so it can move easily in the future. My experience with George’s Moving was excellent and I would highly recommend them for all of your moving needs.

  I recently used George’s moving company to move me and my sister, and he and his movers were absolutely amazing!! They arrived on time and came ready to work. They handled all of our belongings with care and were very professional. Both sets of movers were amazing. I would definitely use them again! If you are looking for movers look no more!! Thank you again George and team!!!

  I was referred to George's moving company from a family member. George was by the far best price (I love that he offers flat rates) & the most responsive. All of my emails were answered within the hour. He even came out to give me a quote for my move because my photos were alittle shotty. He texted me the morning of to give me an ETA for his team. They were alittle late but his team called me with updates so that was fine. I honestly thought it would be an all day project, but his team was super efficient. Moving me in under 3 hours & they were really nice. I will definitely be using them again.
