TL;DR: several damaged items, movers do not wear masks (not safe during COVID), overpriced + misinformation about storage, hidden fees, incredibly disrespectful service. I recently worked with Green Line Relocation & Systems for several moves from Maryland to Virginia to Indiana. During the course of these moves, I incurred nearly $700 worth of damages to my belongings, including losing the legs of a beautiful Victorian era coffee table (after I had labeled certain boxes and furniture pieces as fragile). I also used their storage for a few months and it was incredibly overpriced ($250 for common storage where your belongings are shoved in a warehouse with others' things). They did not tell me that this is how my materials were going to be stored. I was under the assumption that I could access my things at any time but, once, when I arrived, they mentioned that taking things out of the second level (where they had decided to put my things--I had no say in the matter) would cost extra. Lots of hidden fees! During my most recent move (from Maryland to Indiana), the movers changed the time of delivery four times before finally arriving at 3:45pm. (They had called the day before to tell me they would arrive between 9:00am and 10:00am.) I understand timing can change, but as someone with a full-time job, it becomes incredibly difficult to plan around such drastic changes. Upon arrival, the movers seemed irritated (likely due to the bad weather), rushing through my order to get to their next one in Chicago. They were frustrated when I asked that they accurately measure the distance from the truck to my apartment, telling me they could "just see it" and I "should just trust them". They became increasingly angry with me and raised their tones, threatening to leave my belongings in the snow if I didn't just pay for three long carries. I even heard one of them in the elevator complaining to the other about "having to deal with women like me". These kinds of misogynistic, sexist comments are completely unacceptable. Further, I was guaranteed that the move would be COVID-safe and in-line with CDC guidelines. It was not. Both movers had their masks off in my apartment and were not even attempting to socially distance from myself or my partner (who I had to call because I felt concerned for my safety). These kinds of loose regulations put both movers' and customers' health in danger.

We had the worst experience with this Company. When I first booked I ask if I needed to tell them all that we needed moved and I was told NO, we are sending our largest truck. when they arrived we were told they would need to send another truck the next day and of course it would cost us much more. I even emailed the sales rep asking "Do you need a list of our items?" and I was still told NO. There are numerous boxes missing and larger items. Several plastic bins were destroyed by what looks like they just threw heavy items on top of them. I filed a complaint and was offered $310 which doesn't even near cover our loss. Every day we discover something else that is missing. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Green Line Relocation was very prompt on picking up the furniture and other fragile items and communication with delivery date times and pick up were very good. Thank you. I would highly recommend Green Line Relocation for your next move.
