  This company did thousands of dollars in damage and stole hundreds of dollars worth of items. I am disabled so I couldn't help much, but they sent only two guys (of which only one worked) and so it took until sometime after midnight (they started at 8 am). I'm not sure what time they left because I fell asleep. When I woke up, they had packed the apartment so poorly I couldn't get to the bathroom and the sofa was in the kitchen (among other complete chaos). When dealing with the owner, he'd repeatedly ask for lists of the missing items and photos of the damage, which I sent numerous times. He kept saying he'd look into and get back to me but, of course, never did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

  I found the two loaders/unloaders very friendly and attentive to requests. The movers arrived 90 minutes before the scheduled pickup time and ready to work. A few items were damaged in the process of moving like a chair and captain’s bed frame made by my late Grandpa. The bed had a broken drawer where the one of the dovetail joints is was pushed open and securing nails bent. All the remediation offered was one of the movers to try to hit the side with his hand back into place. Also there was five places on the bed frame where dents are where some of the wood was removed at the dent and ore of the top corners smashed off. Jay came to repair the chair and is fixed but the bad is not back to original condition. I would not recommend Jay’s Moving based on punctuality and care of customer’s possessions. I would suggest coming no more than 30 minutes early or 30 minutes late. And to take more care with customer’s personal items. I have used “Two Men and a Truck” for my first out of two moves. I did have a good experience with “Two Men and a Truck” they were expensive but all items arrived intact with no damage.

  I moved from east St Paul to frogtown. I explained to the movers my power chair was a major concern. My chair got from point a to point b. When I got it back it had been messed with and has not been riding right ever since. I would not recommend this company to move my worst enemy. Do not use this company
