  For moving, yes; for storage no. The movers on both sides of our move were very professional, careful, and pleasant. Nothing was lost. Two delicate items they packed with great care, the grandfather clock and large handmade doll house, arrived with no damage. We packed most boxes ourselves and they arrived in good shape. We were baffled then by the extent of damage to many pieces of our wood furniture- gouges, nicks, scratches, broken corners. Most sadly these included gouges on the top of a beautiful cherry dining table and a trim piece broken off a teak nightstand. Since the furniture all left our old home wrapped well, we can only assume the blankets were removed and the pieces left unwrapped during the several months we had to store it, and moved around carelessly. Also, the storage was advertised as “climate controlled” but an expensive brass lamp had corrosion and other pieces appeared to have been damp at some point. The office would not explain but did offer some monetary compensation. So, I would recommend them highly for moving but would not recommend them for extended storage.

  Everyone at Lake Country were awesome! Christopher got our attention with his hand written letter... Dale was awesome in rescheduling our date and super nice... And the movers... Jay and his team were top notch! One of my main reasons for going with them (outside of the price and professionalism) was the fact that they had no issues with moving my 800lb gun safe. All of the other companies that I contacted would not touch it. I would strongly suggest that you give them a call and check them out. It is truly worth it. Great job! and will recommend them to anyone I hear who is moving.

  Just finished a move from Romulus, NY to Frankfort, IN. The crew that did the packing and loading of the truck were fantastic, not just professional but also very friendly. They asked questions while packing as to if we needed quick access to specific boxes, etc. The arrival in Indiana was scheduled for a Thursday and the driver called Tuesday letting us know it was still on schedule. When I told him it was supposed to rain heavily he changed the scheduled time to Wednesday and we got it done before the rain got here. They put all of the items were we requested and assembled all of the furniture that they disassembled while packing. We could not have asked for a better move and if we ever move back to NY we will definitely call Lake Country to take care of it.
