Jose and his team were great! We had to move 3 bedrooms and a lot of kids stuff. They disassemble and reassembled our cribs and moved us 30 miles in about 3-4 hours. We were happy to see them take care of our furniture and didn’t damage anything. The rate was reasonable and the team was accommodating with our requests. I would certainly use them again for future moves.

These people are ridiculous! Rude, lazy and unprofessional. If you want your move to be even somewhat pleasant, please don't book them. I am writing this review more than a week after our move because it's only now that we have been able to bring all our stuff over and get settled. Tl:dr - unpleasant and unprofessional behavior. Left a lot of our kitchen stuff behind so we have had to make trips with our car (35 miles) and bring over what they left. We moved a 2 bedroom house and don't have kids. One of our bedrooms doesn't even have a bed. We used iMove last time (just a father and son. They work really fast and are extremely professional. We didn't use them this time because their truck couldn't fit some of our plants last time, guess what neither can Larro's and you have to put up with their bad attitude as well). They do not function as a team. They asked us for pictures of our stuff beforehand, which I thought was nice. We emailed them beforehand, they responded with "alright just try to pack as much as you can". So we went ahead and packed all our clothes, shoes, books, electronics, pantry items, knick knacks etc but not our china and breakable items. These guys show up the day of the move at 10 am and the first thing Jose tells us is "your stuff will not fit in our truck, now you decide what you want to do" and also we didn't bring any boxes or packing paper (not even one!). Firstly what option do we have at this point since we packed most of our essentials, secondly which mover doesn't even bring boxes?! We had to run down to Home Depot (which is not close to our house btw) and buy packing supplies worth $150. Jose constantly shifted blame to his boss saying "I don't know what deal you have with my boss but I have many years of experience and.....once when my husband was telling him they packed things incorrectly he just said the other guy packed that room (they were working together in all rooms. The other guy didn't know much English so I guess he thought he could throw him under the bus even though he was right there!). I spent the next 4 hours packing alongside these men because they couldn't stop complaining about how much work it will be. My husband finally called the boss and told him how unprofessional they were, after which Jose fixed his attitude a little bit. At 3 pm they told us the truck was full and they can't load anything else. I did a walk through the house to see what was left. Basically it was only heavy items (e.g exercise weights) and fragile items (all our kitchen things my husband and I hadn't packed or some lamps etc). This made it obvious to us that they are just trying to avoid responsibility (see all the other reviews about broken items). Both of us work and knew we don't have time to come back and pack. We told their boss they need to atleast pack everything since there was packing material and boxes and load some boxes in our car. They begrudgingly did that after which we left for the new house. In the new house the same thing continued, they would just bring our chairs and smaller furniture and leave it hoping we would unpack and keep it (they don't unpack smaller boxes either). They only unpacked and placed the heavier items. They finally finished at 9 pm. Cost us a lot and my back issues have been aggravated from all the bending and lifting I've done in the last week. We paid them their due and tipped them appropriately only because we understand this is hard manual work, despite their horrible behavior. As we have unpacked some of the boxes they packed I can tell how little they care about our things. Everything has just been thrown in without any care.

Larro's contacted me a couple of days in advance to provide an inventory list so they could be prepared. I hired a two-man crew from Larro's to do my move from a shared roommate situation in San Francisco to a studio in Oakland. The guys were great, and they arrived on time, giving me a call before they arrived so I could be ready. They made quick work of my boxes and furniture and tactfully ignored both my crying and hovering. They were very efficient and arrived about five minutes after I did to the new place. The whole move took less than three hours and that was with the disassembly and reassembly of my bed. Larro's is very reasonably priced, and I can't recommend them enough.
