We contracted this company to move my mother today. Nobody showed to do the move. We called the office and nobody responded. We drove to the office and nobody answered the door. We finally found some guy to ask and told us to wait a minute, then got in his car and drove off. Finally we found someone else who informed us the entire staff quit yesterday. Don't bother with these guys.

I scheduled a move with Lausch because I had used the company over 10 years ago and was pleased with the service. I made my arrangements weeks ago. My move was based on settlement dates. I have been packing and preparing for my move. This AM, 6 days before my move, the movers showed up. I was incredulous. The movers left after I explained the move was on the 10th. I received a call from Brian who informed me that , unless I moved today, my move was cancelled. He yelled at me, called me a liar and threatened me. I have 1 move to make. Wouldn't I know the day? My agent and others could attest to the same. You might imagine how upset I am. There was no attempt to work with me in any way. I wanted to speak with someone in charge but Brian disconnected the call. I would never have expected to be treated as I was. I warn those considering this company to think twice.

The upfront guys are very responsive and sounded reasonable but that's just to lure you in. The crew took enough breaks to ensure the bill came in just over the quoted range. As in a 15 minute break every half hour. I was assured that the guys would unassembled and reassemble all furniture. They put a bed with storage back together wrong and never corrected it. They also stopped responding altogether when I tried to get them to come back and fix it. Do NOT use this company! I filed a complaint with the attorney general's office Bureau of Consumer Protection so it's on file for others to see. Again, do NOT use this company!
