  I LOVE my MacPass! With both son and daughter living below the bridge it was cost-effective to get us each a sticker with transponder to reduce our toll time and since you save on your return car fare if less than 48hours. MBA Admin. office can set you up 24/7 for an $80 deposit and 11more for the four-$1 stickers and process fee. It is faster and immediately available vs. ordering online and having to wait for mail to arrive. You can still see your friendly toll booth operator if you wish to get in line it will work in any open booth.

  Sitting for hours with no information given, nothing but "special weather" available on their site. Refusing to give any expected estimates for reopening... ice falling from the cables, was the reason it closed. But that was not available until within close proximity of the bridge. Bridge crews and emergency vehicles cross but nothing else. A brief writeup on the site would have prevented much of the massive backlog stopped for miles on both sides. And to still charge everyone full rate to cross after all that. I get safety of everyone is most important. But those who so choose can take that risk after releasing the bridge authority from any responsibilities. But again, common sense and better communication to the public would prevent these issues.

  I love this bridge. It is very cool to travel on and it also makes cool noises. There's nothing like crossing it every year. Best bridge in my opinion. It is also cool to see workers do maintenance.
