I wanted to offer more stars because we have had a positive experience with a couple of the customer service individuals we've worked with. Outside of that, I will never work with this company again. The customer service people (Louise, Shauna) were great and executed their roles well for what they could do. Our sales rep. (Perry) made false promises over the phone time and time again, including when our pick-up would occur and when our subsequent delivery would be. When we connected with our move coordinator (Erica) at the time, she threw the sales person under the bus and then in a conversation with our sales rep. after, he threw her under the bus. It felt like internal communication was severely lacking. Beyond that, 2 weeks after our goods were picked up, we called to check in on the arrival date and I'm glad we did because our stuff never actually left NH--and I can’t help but wonder if it ever would have if we didn’t call. Our sales rep. bandwagoned with all the fire and fury he thought we might want to hear over the phone, “heads are going to roll…” “I’m furious too!...” etc. But of course, couldn’t provide any solid information or answers to the questions we had. Additionally, our sales rep. indicated that as a result of our delivery being late, we should save receipts and what not for reimbursements. Then, in a conversation with customer service, we were told that there was no point in saving receipts because they wouldn’t reimburse anything. So, another lie from our sales rep. to try to appease us. Further, we were told by our sales rep. that we would receive $100 for every day it was late--on a move that cost over $5K and missed all expected marks for service and quality assurance.

I was quoted lower prices from other moving companies but McLaughlin brought the professionalism and expertise that I was seeking. I paid a bit more to be ensured of a delivery date and it was worth every penny. It was delivered right on time with absolutely no damage. I was very happy with the service and would use them again. (Though I have absolutely no plans to ever move again in my lifetime!) Very reliable and trustworthy, a good experience.

Words cannot express the anger and stress this company has put me through. My employees and I were LIED TO and put through unspeakable torment by this complete joke of a moving company. I'm sure others will be filling out their own personal reviews with their own individual stories of how this building of disgusting "human" scum negatively impacted their lives. Where to begin... Tyler was absolutely useless. He came to my house and office to put together a quote. He went through each room, writing down information in whichever order. Apparently he thought our living room with a sectional couch and tv was a CLOSET. Wouldn't put it past him in hindsight. He also was interested in buying our couch and was pretty sold on buying our treadmill. After he told me he'd contact me the next day, I shook his dirty hippy hand goodbye. He proceeded to vanish for what appeared to be a long weekend. I had to call the company to find out what was going on. I never spoke to him again. Regardless, all that came from these hours of time spent with Tyler was a million other questions from Debbie [a "sales rep"] during the next week. The questions she asked us were the entire reason Tyler came out to our location in the first place to have answered ahead of time. We proceeded to go over every detail of what is in packed in what box, what we need packed vs. what they are packing, what was fragile... Every. Little. Detail. All this lead me to wonder: Who was this enigma named Tyler? Was he ever at my apartment...jotting down all this information, or was he simply a ghost, some lost soul that died at Woodstock in 1969... Really though, there was ZERO point to his role at this company. Side note: Tyler told us all about the show he's on-- Wicked Tuna! Hope it really pays off, because he is horrible at this! But hey, he just does this to make his dad happy. At least that's what he told us. I'm sure he's really happy with you, Tyler. Keep up that grade A quality work! After going back and fourth with Debbie, who is one of the most passive aggressive people I've ever met, we went through revision after revision on this quote. She couldn't seem to figure out that we had packed our own dishes... or that (like I said time and time again) we only needed help packing larger items. She told us that all these revisions took too long and now our moving our date needed postponing. Obviously that doesn't work when I have plane tickets, my car being shipped, my girlfriends car being shipped, and a new dog that's waiting for me in Texas. I told her how I really felt. She apologized. Or pretended to. Later, Debbie goes out of her way to call me back. It's a miracle! There's a truck that's magically available to bring our stuff to Texas! She just needs to send over the paperwork! She sends it via email and I ask if she can send it through docusign or some online service seeing as my printer is packed away. She says she will. Hours pass and I know Debbie loves to take her full lunch break and leave at 5PM on the DOT! I start getting worried and call over and over. No dice. She doesn't answer. Eventually my girlfriend calls from a separate number, one Debbie hasn't yet seen. She decides to answer this one. She tells her that the move can't happen. AGAIN. She lied to us and screwed up our lives TWICE in one day. Look, fact of the matter is...I still don't have my stuff getting shipped. They really blew my life up. I hate them. I really really hate them for this. You should, if you value your life and belongings, stay far away from this company. I mean it when I say, you'd be better off carrying each individual box across the country than going through these horrible people. Update to their response: This is Cory Crater, I'm sure you remember me very well. If they say otherwise, they're literally just lying. Which wouldn't surprise me in the least given my experience with them.
