  I moved from St. Augustine to Daytona Beach. Autumn was wonderful to work with. She called me the morning of the move to let me know the movers where on their way. Rupert, Derrick and Markus were great. They moved things quickly, were polite and friendly. They took great care of my things. The price was great compared to other companies I researched. The end price came in right where the price I was quoted. I highly recommend Minorcan.

  We used this company because they sent someone to look at what we had to quote a price which we thought was very professional. Don’t let that fool you!!!! My husband is wheelchair bound and is not able to do a lot of packing so when Sterling came to the house he told my husband that what we can’t get packed, they would help us. That was a lie!! I was by myself at the old house and my husband was at the new house. When the 3 movers got there, I was yelled at that they couldn’t move anything that’s not in a box and the boxes had to be taped and that they wouldn’t help pack! So they didn’t take a lot of items because something was on them such as end tables. I was running around trying to get things in boxes while they were there. Speaking of boxes, all of our boxes were very clearly marked with what was inside. We discovered boxes marked books on top of boxes marked glass/fragile. We also found boxes upside down. The movers actually had the nerve to ask for a tip!!! We gave each of them a cold bottle of water which we found one of them in the garage. We are left with finishing the job ourselves!!

  I have used Minorcan 4 times before, and each time was worse than the last. Never again. The last time was 3/21/21in a local move. They sent 2 movers; one had some experience, but the other - his brother - appeared to have no experience and actually acted spaced out. The had no tools - I had to borrow some from a neighbor. The spacey one was uncommunicative. He dropped a very expensive chair form a standing position on the bed of the truck to asphalt, approx. 5 feet.. I told him to call his boss and his boss' only question was, "How much does it weigh?" They are responsible by weight for pennies for the pound, and his concern was what is this going to cost him? He had no concern for me. They did not know how to disassemble a desk and had no clue how to approach the problem. What was a fairly simple, small local move was actually painful. Based upon my 4 experiences, I would not recommend them.
