  My wife and I recently moved from Washington DC to Silver Spring Maryland. A former classmate recommended Monumental Moving Company to us as he is a licensed realtor and relocation director. We are very pleased with the quality of work that we received from them. They came and gave us a reasonable estimate for our two bedroom apartment. The quote was for a 4 to 6 hours job; it was completed flawlessly within 4 hours so we ended up saving a bit of money too! We did do a lot of our own legwork packing and moving basically all the small stuff in boxes etc, so when the big day came, all the guys had to move was our big furniture. They handled everything with the utmost care, wrapping dressers with blankets and plastic to keep drawers from sliding out while transporting; everything you’d expect from a professional moving company.   We had the best experience with Monumental. From the very beginning, they were the most responsive and quick to answer any questions. They provided a fair price and were very competitive with other companies. I'm so glad we went with them because when it came down to the day of the move, we were beyond impressed. The movers were extremely quick and efficient but also very respectful and professional. They did a great job of keeping furniture protected during the move as well as taking the furniture apart and putting it back together. You can tell that they do this all the time and they know what they're doing. To top it off, they even finished the work ahead of time making the cost even lower. I will absolutely be using this company again if moving in the area and I could not recommend them more to anyone searching for a moving company.

  We’ve hired a couple of different moving companies over the last few months of moving but was BY FAR the most happy with these guys. We hired them to move my husband’s office upstairs, put together a treadmill and to move a few other things around the house. They were fast, hard working and pleasant to be around. Will definitely be calling them again if we need anything.
