  Movers were very nice and hardworking, however, I noticed during the move that some damage was done to the brand new plank flooring in the foyer. I pointed it out as they were still moving, and then later noticed damage to a large wooden statue that matched the damage to the floors. The movers were responsive and assisted in taking pictures of the damage and contacting their office to file a claim. I then spoke to someone who was either the manager or owner for payment and asked how to handle the damage. He was extremely rude and said I would have to file a claim. Then several months of back and forth and paperwork ensued. I received 2 quotes to have the flooring repaired from contractors for $885 and $775, but Moving Squad responded and said their in-house person said it was too high and they were only willing to compensate us with $270 total for both the damaged floors and statue. I was shocked and asked how is this even possible, as that wouldn't even cover the cost of the materials, let alone labor and then there is the damage to the statue...which couldn't even be repaired. I then asked for them to provide me with a written quote from their "in-house" person, and was told my request had been sent to upper management. I never heard from them again, and I didn't feel it was worth signing a non disclosure for a mere $270. It clearly was not worth the time and aggravation. Mistakes happen...it's to be expected, but what is the point of paying for a licensed and insured moving company, if they don't in fact compensate you when damages occur.

  Had a great experience! On 4/3 Tavar and his crew were quick and got everything out safely. We got wardrobe boxes I packed up quickly, furniture was pad wrapped and shrink wrapped, and everything was top notch. My boyfriend and I moved a bunch of small stuff already out of our 1BR apartment and we needed the big stuff taken care of. They were also funny. Would use them again for sure.

  Third time using Moving squad and it was again perfect! This move was from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale and I could not believe how fast and efficient they were. Nothing damaged - very Professional and priced right. Highly recommend.
