  Used this company back in July 2021 when we got orders to move within a week. They were very responsive and I felt confident when booking with them. We moved a three bedroom, two and a half bathroom townhome into a storage unit and I can't say that our experience was great. To preface: my husband and I were in a bind as the military was sending my husband out of state, so we packed up our place to put into storage. I had to find a company that could accommodate us within the week and Mr&Mrs Moving Service responded to our call. Based on our phone call, response time, and the price estimate they gave us, I felt confident in booking with the company. I love supporting smaller family-owned business so I felt great with the company. So I'll start with the pros: - quick response time - thorough phone call - prompt timing So the cons start with the actual day of... the mover, Joel, and his guy was on time. I was expecting family members as I saw online that this was a familial business. However, it seemed as if the other crew member was brand new..as in they literally met the day of. They weren't as coordinated as they made it seem in advertising and over the phone. The team of two ended up taking a lot longer than what was quoted, complained about how we packed things, and made some really passive aggressive comments. The owner, yelled at my husband because he accidentally left the door open near the stairs, which I understand is a hazard, but at the same time, there is no need to be aggressive. We were all doing our best to mitigate a difficult time. They also scraped the walls of our rental unit, scratched some of our furniture, and as we are currently clearing out our storage unit, we have boxes and baskets that are broken, large memorabilia frames that are now crooked/framing is loose, and it literally looks like they just threw the items in. I included one photo to visualize what the rest of it may look like but obviously a basket is not the most important. **while they do say they're COVID conscious, the owner did not wear his mask the entirety of the time.** I give them two stars in that they did respond and they did do the job...but what was quoted over the phone versus what we paid was just not worth it. I would not recommend them as the execution and completion of the job also matters and it was not well executed.

  WASTE OF TIME! I was supposed to have them come move my stuff today at 9am… I waited for them for 8 HOURS!! The owner did call me at 9 am saying that his truck broke down & again at 11am saying that he had a rental reserved at 1pm. 1:30 he calls saying that the truck he rented wasn’t there and that he should get it in about an hour. After that… NOTHING! I tried calling back at 4pm…. They NEVER showed, I NEVER got a call asking if they can reschedule. I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy… save your time and your money and book with professionals who are more responsible.

  I used Mr. & Mrs. Moving Services to transport 19 years worth of "living" from a 1 bedroom, plus loft, condo to a 10 x 14 storage unit. I was simply amazed how Joel and his assistant Isaiah worked so diligently and methodically to pack over (50) boxes (of various sizes) and large bulky furniture pieces into his 27 foot cargo hauler and then into the storage unit like a jigsaw puzzle, utilizing every inch of space. Their rates are competitively priced, you definitely get what you paid for and more in excellent service, care in transportation, strategic thinking and very strong arms and backs. They did an excellent job and I will definitely be using them again to transport from the storage facility into my new home!!!
