  I'm very 50/50 on this service. When talking to the broker who set up, I was told that my packing would be overestimated. The price was so when I came in under that was fantastic. However I don't know if something got miscommunicated over the phone on my end or to the packing crew. I was told I would have 5-10 boxes which would be packed by the crew and that that was an overestimate. When the crew arrived they had no boxes and showed me the inventory that they were never told I would need any. I absolutely panicked because while thankfully I had packed 90% of stuff myself, there was still some items I had left for the crew to pack. Thankfully the crew was amazing And they managed to combine all my items with other items and even took some back anyways and packed it by the warehouse. So on that front I am so thankful that they were wonderful and made it work. The crew who delivered my items to their destination was also super friendly and helpful. Only a few wine glasses were broken from not being able to pack them properly/hoping that the crew was going to pack them. No items lost so overall can't really be disappointed. I would just recommend that if you are expecting the crew to bring boxes to back items, triple check that that is in your inventory and instructions to save yourself some panic.

  Overall we were very happy with North American for our move from CT to SC. The movers were friendly, polite, and professional. My only complaint is communication could have been better. This move happened during the COVID-19 crisis, so I am not surprised by some of the communication errors. While these did not impact the move, or the quality of service we received, it did result in some stressful moments. The icing on the cake was the day the movers were to arrive, and because we are in a new development, we aren't on most GPS services. The movers ended up in the wrong town at the wrong address - phoned us and asked us to come to the back door after we said they weren't at our address. We went round and round playing phone tag and such, even after pinging them our location they still ended up on the other side of town. We finally told them a cross road location and where to go from there and they eventually found us. This could all have been avoided if one of the movers had said "hey, let's call them and get directions!" So that was very frustrating, but again, the movers were great other than that. I would recommend North American for their honesty and upfront pricing. Just keep in mind you might have to do some micro-managing in the communication department.

  The movers (Mike and Russ) were incredibly polite and professional. They stayed in contact and communicated several times concerning their projected arrival. My stuff was packed carefully and survived a 2,500-mile journey with no issues. I can recommend without question.
