I called Budget Van Lines phone number to get a quote for our move and was automatically rerouted to this company instead. The sales rep I spoke with at the beginning was very nice and thorough when getting all of my information. I was placed on a long hold while he "spoke with dispatch" about finding a truck that would work for our reservation. He can back with a quote of $4094 if I booked right then. I told him I was unable to make that decision without speaking with my husband (Jeremy) about the cost. I said I would talk with him when he got home from work and we would let them know. He placed me on another hold and said he was going to ask dispatch again if they could place my reservation on hold. This is where it went down hill FAST. He came back and said he would drop the price to $2900 if I would book the truck right then. I said again that I would need to speak with my husband before making this decision and he was at work. Out of nowhere, another guy named John from "dispatch" came on the line and said "this price was only good for this phone call" and that I needed "to place them on mute and speak with my husband who they can hear in the background." I was flabbergasted. I replied and said no, my husband is not here, he is at work like I mentioned multiple times. John came back again and said they could hear him in the background and I needed to speak with him now so I can finish the deal. He also said they did not appreciate me giving them the run around lying about my husband being at work. I repeated AGAIN that my husband was at work and the male they heard in the background was my father-in-law. I told them I did not like being called a liar and if this was the way they treated their potential customers, I wanted nothing to do with their company. I honestly cannot believe that happened. I understand trying to make a sale and that it is their job, but you do not treat customers like this. I didn't even get as far as booking with them and I am so happy I didn't. Seriously, beware of this company.

Hi Jeremy, I am sorry that you had such a bad experience with a moving company, but from our records we don't show that you contacted North American Van Lines. We don't work with budget van lines nor do we ever quote over the phone. We always recommend an in-home survey or a virtual survey so we can take a look a your belongings and give an accurate price for your interstate move. There is a moving broker out there called North America van lines who does quotes but we are not affiliated with them. I am not sure what the standard is for movers, but I am sure these guys surpassed it. The movers displayed great customer service start to finish. They were there when they said they would be. Most importantly, they made me feel like they cared about my property. The guys were informative and adherent to how I wanted things to go. It's a real stress releaver to be comfortable with people who are handling your hard earned belongings. These guys were personable and friendly to my wife and children. You can't ask for more than that. Great job all around! Thank you guys for making this move easy. And whoever may read this ask for the "A Team" ....Tristin, Daniel, Mark, Jacob, Alec and Ricky!! Fill out my personal information online, and got calls at 12:30AM for 3 times? It is for my parents move from out of state. Since they haven't decided the exact date they are going to move, I just want to get a quote and they have the automatic call sent to me on the midnight of the weekends!!! Who is able to have a talk regarding quote at this time of the day!!!!
