  Gave 2 stars as the actual movers were excellent. Hired them for a move that was complete on July 1, had a small claim of five boxes full of clothing that was water damaged with mold from their storage facility. Have yet to have anyone contact me regarding the claim, it’s been six weeks, I think they are hoping we will forget about it however we have close to $2000 worth damage to clothing and rugs. Next step is small claims court.

  We moved from a 4-bedroom house Ann Arbor, MI, to another in Columbia, MD, in February 2022. Our experience with University Moving & Storage could not have been better. We connected with them through North American Van Lines. From reading many reviews and horror stories about moving companies, I have concluded that a high quality move depends on the quality of the local company, and we were lucky to get a good one. Every step went smoothly, from the virtual walk-through to the final unloading, Eric, our ever-cheerful and helpful liaison, stayed in close touch during the whole process and checked in with us every week as the move date got closer. As for the moving crew, they get high marks all around, for both loading and unloading. All were very experienced, courteous and careful (not to speak of incredibly strong). T

  I used University Moving Co for an east coast to west coast move. Blake and Austin were on time, professional, quick and efficient handling my belongings. Cleaned up after they left and even helped me box and an item or two. Mr Fletcher was my point of contact and kept me in the loop each step of the way during the process. Very good communication. Never had any problems reaching him and he was very attentive during the process.His partner( I believe his name was Kevin) was very friendly, helpful and transparent with the cost planning during the virtual tour. The company in Los Angeles (Andys Transfer) had a slight delay with dropping off my belongings, however their service was decent and the 2 gentleman who unloaded my stuff were professional. Overall I was satisfied and I'll use their services again.
