  The movers were very nice, and did a good job hauling our stuff down three flights of stairs, and across the state from Eugene to Portland. We did have a problem with them arriving in Portland 2 hours later than us, so maybe if you have specific time frames that you’re working with, let them know ahead of time. They were willing to compensate us for the inconvenience, so we can definitely say that they’re good people, and we enjoyed working with them. They have good work ethic, and we would recommend them for a local move.

  I contacted this company on EXTREMELY short notice. My husband was finishing up loading our truck and would be back with it in less than four hours. He was tired from unloading, loading, and driving back and forth in such a short amount of time. Andrew answered promptly and made time for us day of, even rearranging other work to fit us in. He and his crew showed up on time and were ready to go. They were professional, quick, communicative, and incredibly affordable. I'll use this company in the future and will recommend them to anyone who asks.

  Even though we booked last minute, (who wants to unload after a 1000 miles in a Uhaul), Glenn and his partner showed up promptly and on time, were professional, courteous, careful and worked efficiently. We moved a 2 bedroom (15’ truck) which they had unloaded very quickly. We were quite impressed. (They didn’t even groan at my multiple boxes of books!) Their rates are extremely reasonable (even last minute, compared to other moving companies), and I can assure anyone that is nervous about “You get what you pay for”, as was I, will be more than happy with Northwest Moving.
