Nice, energetic and helpful employees, who seem to genuinely care about what they are doing and don't act as if deviating from their original plan is the worst thing. As a shipping/ freight company; Old Dominion hit every check list for 10/10 excellence. They truly do go above and beyond what one expects and then continues to try to one up them selves to repeatedly become a better company for their customers. Highly encourage you to either try them for a first time or continue to use their services.

They let dockworkers sit around talking, blocking the drive isle, with no consequences. One supervisor, Dusty, always has a bad attitude and comes in wearing sneakers sometimes instead of steel toes. Nothing is said about this. Yet, they will fire you for hearsay and offer no proof of anything or what policy was violated. Also, dock supervisors are almost never around when needed. Have to waste 10 minutes trying to find one. Getting off on time is never a guarantee. Some hand freight requires unsafe lifting to unload/load. They only hire men for dock positions.
