  Old Dominion has a horrible problem with honesty. I scheduled a p/u on a Wednesday and by the end of the day they couldn't find record of it. P/U request didn't exist. Reschedule for Thursday and dispatch continues to tell me the driver will be there on time. Thursday end of day ODFL failed to pick up. Our closing time of 3 PM is an inconvenience to them. They proceed to tell me we will put you back on schedule for an early pick up Friday. BIG QUESTION why didn't you do that before? They didn't do that before because early pick ups don't exist. They lie to shut you up. ANY ONE WHO CONSIDERS ODFL CHECK INTO SAIA FIRST.

  We used ODFL for many years and had a great relationship. The last shipment, they fought to honor a quote, improperly billed on several invoices , then charged my company an additional fee to correct their mistake. After multiple emails over reconciling an invoice (that we paid) they added a $25 for making the correction. We will not be using them again.

  Told dispatch that a 53' truck would not work for my residential delivery. Truck driver called before delivery saying he was in a 53' trailer and was concerned about making the delivery! Shipment would need to be delayed for a smaller truck. I took off 1/2 day from work and cancelled other plans! Was wanting to get delivery before holiday. I finally got a hold of someone knowledgeable and it looks like I might get my delivery Fri after Thanksgiving. Lets see . . . .
