  I used Upack to move from NC to KY. Customer service over the phone was extremely helpful. Dropoff/pickup of the pod was fairly seamless on the NC side. With the help of customer service on the phone, we were able to secure a guaranteed delivery day, which worked out well. However, we called to have the pod picked up on Thurs, June 24th, and after being told it was on the schedule, it wasn’t picked up. We called again on June 25th, were told it would be picked up, and again it wasn’t. We had told our landlord that the pod would be in place for two days, but it didn’t end up getting picked up for five days on the following Monday. He was thankfully understanding, but it could have been a big issue if we had needed to obtain permits, etc, as I know many people do. The UPACK was parked near our apartment’s garage, and when I pulled in to park my car the next day, I realized that the large light above our garage had been ripped out of the wall and was left hanging with a note from the driver saying that we needed to buy some new screws to fix it. I appreciate the cost savings and customer service initially, however, I was very disappointed by our experience in the KY portion of our move.

  This is our fourth time using UPack and the service has been amazing every time. Phone service has been professional and responsive, and delivery and retrieval of the trailer have been right on time. The trailers and cubes are always clean and easy to load. We have used POD (with issues) and a mover (with major issues), and it has been a great relief to be able to depend on a product during a stressful time. Prices have been competitive compared to other moving services.

  Overall I am impressed with the service. Drop off and pick up if the U-pack trailer was very prompt! The only issue we had is that it took 4 days longer to receive the trailer (cross country move) then originally quoted. However, I believe this was due to COVID complications. They had furloughed a lot of the drivers and they could not bring drivers back fast enough to keep up with demand. I think this is understandable and considering we had to move during a pandemic the company did well!
