  When we researched moving companies, this one gave us the best price. When they arrived, one of the movers realized he had forgotten shoes and needed to go get them. We laughed and figured that is the nature of living in a beach city. My husband offered the use of his car so they didn’t have to put more miles on their U-Haul rental. The start time was 1 1/2 hours later than they had promised. The two movers were friendly, and worked hard on a very hot day. Until it came time to pay them, I was very pleased. Note that my husband had asked repeatedly for an up front contract, told he would receive one, but none was ever given. I started to write the check according to the agreed upon terms and was unexpectedly informed that “drive time” between both locations was billed at 1.5 times the rate. That was never disclosed to us up front, and given the circumstances at the beginning of the move, I was blown away that the business owner was trying to nickel and dime us on the back end. Unprofessional and short-sighted. Be warned, if you use these movers get your terms in writing up front so they can’t add any unexpected charges at the end.

  If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT use this place unless you want your furniture scratched and broken and to be heavly overcharged for some really out of shape SLOW movers! They scratched, broke and damaged so many of our things! Only 1 of 6 lamps survived, and almost every piece of wood furniture was chipped and scratched. They took all day to load a half full, 1 bedroom apartment. Not a real business! Showed up 2 hours late in a uhaul I could have rented myself. Every time we weren't looking they literally did nothing! The slightly lower hourly price may be appealing, but it actually ended up costing so much more because of the speed at which they worked. Absolutely 0 understanding of how to load a truck or handle belongings. They even managed to horribly scratch a kitchen table they didn't even move, because when they arrived to our new place they thought it was ok to slide boxes and other items all over it. This is the only review I have ever written, and I truly hope it will save others the pain this so called moving company will cause.

  They didn't even show up!!!!! How unprofessional can you be? They called me 15 min before they were supposed to arrive and said they had accidentally double booked us and asked if they can come later. I told them that doesn't really work for us since we called 3 weeks ago to make this appointment. Grant says, ok let me figure this out and call you back. I call him 20 minutes later and his phone goes straight to voicemail... I am shocked that someone can run a business this way. Now we are scrambling to rent a U-Haul and move everything ourselves. I am so disappointed, two thumbs DOWN!!!
