I rented a 26' Penske truck a couple of weeks ago. I rented the truck from Penske in Foley, Al because it said it was a diesel. When I picked the truck up it was a V-10 gasoline engine. Did not have any other options at this point and had to take it. We had to make a 300 mile trip. The gas engine performed horribly. No guts. It also only got about 6mpg. They should not even have a gas engine in a truck that size. So beware if you rent from Penske and are depending on the truck to be what you rented online. I am not happy about the rental experience with Penske.
