My fiancé reserved a truck at least a month ago for this morning at 9am. We are moving out of state. Like most people who are moving, things are scheduled and paid for at specific times for a REASON. We arrived promptly at the time the reservation was made for. The truck was leaking water and was not the size we reserved. I had to go back to the shop to pick up my fiancé. We were then told we had to drive 45 minutes away to pick up the truck we reserved well in advance. How was this truck not inspected prior to our arrival? I would think a good business would at least have looked over their bookings the day before and say “we don’t have this truck and the one we do have is broken, let me give these clients a call.” we just got home 2.5 hours after our pick up time that was supposed to be a 15 minute pick up from our house. This is beyond bizarre. Thank God we booked our movers for tomorrow morning. What if they were scheduled to be at our place to move everything at 9:30 this morning when we are paying them $90/hr????? Wow is all I can say. We were not offered a discount or anything for this huge inconvenience. We are 2.5 hours behind now. I would not use or recommend this company for anything, ever.
